At a restaurant yesterday, while I was waiting between the men's room and the ladies room, a lady came by and smiled and went into the ladies room.

Another lady came and stood beside me as though 'waiting in line'. I said jokingly, I was deciding which room to go in. She said nothing and went into the ladies room.

I guess that is where we are today, abnormalities do not bother us. Abnormality (well liberalism)?

Imagine the shock if I went into the ladies room - an invasion of privacy or is it our rights only extend until we invade the rights of others (like the unborn?).

I worked for 10 years with 2 gay guys. 2000-2010. Both good to work with. Don't ask, don't tell worked very well. I sat with these guys and their partners at Christmas Parties and they enjoyed my Christmas Cards about Jesus. One was a floosy, one was faithful until death. Not my call.

In the Army I worked with discharges. One dishonorable discharge was someone who violated 'don't ask, don't tell'. 1965-67 of course.

Once heard a church sermon given by a gay (ex?) but it was one of the best sermons I ever heard about God's forgiveness. A work in process?

Recently had an opportunity, needed a new septic tank. Ashley showed up with her back hoe. I soon realized she used to be a guy. From then on it became hard to say the right thing, until I helped she/him/zer(?) to fix a flat tire on the back hoe cart. Then things got better.

In any situation, if we cross the 'don't ask, don't tell' line, will the Church discharge us, or more importantly will God discharge us?

1 Corinthians 6

9. Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,

10. nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

11. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

8 years after Lot chooses to live in Sodom, Abraham has to rescue Lot and Sodom from Kings of the East.

Mel, King of Salem comes to celebrate. 15 years after that God destroys Sodom.

Not that God did not try to warn Sodom of their cultural deficiencies.
