Hebrews 11 is about God’s recording of the Heroes of Faith throughout history, who usually are called to rescue God’s people from bad situations or perform some God honoring work (or both). I believe it is meant to encourage us in our Walk, showing us basically what works and what does not, and inspires us to ‘go and do likewise’.
